Strategic collaboration underscores commitment to UAE’s industrial growth and In-Country Value program.

In a significant move aimed at bolstering the UAE’s industrial landscape, Emirates Steel Arkan has forged a strategic partnership with Adnoc Distribution for the supply of industrial lubricants.

This collaboration culminates in a long-term contract within the lubricants category, reflecting Emirates Steel Arkan’s steadfast commitment to advancing the national industrial sector through the In-Country Value (ICV) program, the Emirati steel producer stated.

The National In-Country Value (ICV) Program, a cornerstone of the UAE’s economic strategy, seeks to amplify economic performance and strengthen local industries by redirecting a substantial portion of public expenditure into the national economy. Emirates Steel Arkan’s collaboration with Adnoc Distribution underscores its dedication to supporting this initiative and driving growth across the UAE’s industrial spectrum.

Formed through the amalgamation of Emirates Steel and Arkan Building Materials in 2021, Emirates Steel Arkan is predominantly owned by Abu Dhabi’s esteemed holding company, ADQ. With an annual steel production capacity of 3.5 million tons, the company boasts a diverse product portfolio encompassing wire rod, rebar, heavy sections, and sheet piles, serving both domestic and international markets.
