ENOC Wins Energy Management Insight Award for Sustainability Excellence
Recognized for outstanding energy savings and commitment to clean energy goals.
According to a latest news article in Oil & Gas Middle East, The ENOC Group has been honored with the 2024 Energy Management Insight Award by the Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM) for its successful implementation of ISO 50001-certified energy management systems. The award recognizes ENOC’s efforts in reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions across its business units.
ENOC LLC (Corporate Real Estate) saved USD 376,115 and cut CO2 emissions by 1,479.9 metric tonnes in five years. The Retail unit—including AutoPro, ZOOM, and ENOC Link—achieved USD 1.24 million in savings and reduced emissions by 1,487 metric tonnes over three years. Tasjeel reported savings of USD 26,798 with a 70.63 metric tonne CO2 reduction in four years.
“Clean energy transition is a global priority, and ENOC is committed to playing its part,” said His Excellency Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO at ENOC. “This award reinforces our efforts in supporting decarbonization and setting benchmarks for sustainable energy management.”
Other ENOC subsidiaries also contributed significantly. Emirates Gas LLC reduced energy intensity by 32%, saving over USD 100,000, while Dubai Lubricants Processing Plant and EPPCO International Limited saved USD 77,500 and USD 73,946, respectively.
The CEM Energy Management Leadership Awards recognize companies worldwide for implementing energy management strategies that drive sustainability and efficiency. ENOC’s commitment aligns with Dubai’s Clean Energy Strategy 2050, aiming for 75% clean energy output by 2050.
