FUCHS Expands Specialty Lubricants with Boss Lubricants Acquisition

New deal strengthens FUCHS’ expertise in medical, safety, and mechanical engineering applications.

According to a latest news article in Lubezine, FUCHS Group has acquired Boss Lubricants GmbH & Co. KG, a Germany-based specialty lubricants manufacturer known for its applications in medical technology, safety technology, metalworking, and mechanical engineering.

Stefan Fuchs, CEO of FUCHS SE, emphasized that the acquisition brings a highly skilled team and niche lubrication solutions, opening international growth opportunities while complementing FUCHS’ long-standing strengths in metalworking and mechanical engineering.

Boss Lubricants, which recorded €7 million in sales in 2023, will continue operations from its Albstadt, Germany site.
